What's So Great About Homeschooling?
Did you know that you don't need to be a professionally-trained educator to give your children a solid academic education? Home education is legal in all 50 states, including our state of Illinois. Utilizing the many incredible homeschool resources available, parents are uniquely and excellently equipped to guide their children as they develop into the people they were created to be: academically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.
If you are able to and interested in choosing to homeschool, it will give you the freedom to:
Customize education to suit the needs of your family and your individual students, including children with various learning styles and those with special needs;
Nurture each of your children to succeed throughout their unique developmental timeline, avoiding unnecessary comparisons to other children;
De-emphasize testing and instead focus on teaching your kids how to learn, including crucial critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
Get to the core of what your kids need to succeed academically and in adult life, and skip busywork;
Rediscover crucial time for childhood free play and exploration of the world around us, including the outdoors; and,
Raise your children in a way that aligns with your faith and values.
